LTF 2015

LTF 2015 was jointly hosted by the British Council and the University of Oxford’s Department of Education. The focus of the conference was: Assessing general language proficiency – definitions and approaches. Talks were organised under three themes: 

  • General language proficiency
  • Quality design and delivery
  • Localisation.

An opening plenary on the Friday evening was delivered by Yasmine El Masri  and Therese N. Hopfenbeck (Oxford University) on the topic of Language effects in international tests: the case of PISA science.
