From the UK to Huddersfield train station
If you are traveling from London, make for London Kings Cross or London Euston. The journey from either of these stations takes about three hours with one change, either at Manchester (from Euston) or at Leeds or Wakefield (from Kings Cross). The one-way fare varies horribly (anything from £30 to £120). Cross-country trains stop in both Leeds and Manchester and there are regular trains from both cities to Huddersfield. The TransPennnine Express services are the quickest and should be used in preference to those offered by other local rail services.
