Language Testing Forum 2017: Assessing Languages in the UK
Dates: 5.30pm, Friday 24th November – 1pm, Sunday 26th November, 2017.
Venue: Oastler Building, University of Huddersfield, Huddersfield.
LTF is the annual conference of UK Association for Language Testing and Assessment (UKALTA). This year’s conference will be held at the University of Huddersfield, and will address a broad theme intended to draw attention to the assessment of languages in various settings across the UK.
The principle theme of LTF 2017 will be Assessing languages in the UK
We invite proposals for this event related to the main theme and covering either of the sub-themes below. (These sub-themes are intended to capture major areas of interest but are not intended as an exhaustive list. Proposals on any aspect of the main theme Assessing Languages in the UK are also welcome).
Sub-themes:
- Innovations in classroom assessment
- Assessing languages other than English
Types of paper:
- presentation (30 minutes inclusive of questions)
- poster
Deadlines:
- Submission of proposals by Friday September 15th 2017.
- Notification of acceptance by Monday October 9th 2017.
Abstract submission:
Abstracts should be a maximum of 250 words, with a title of no more than 12 words.
